Morgan Hull, M.D. practices at Surgical Clinic, PC. He earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine (UAB), and stayed in Birmingham to complete his internship and residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital in General Surgery.
His focus includes a wide variety of general surgery, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, as well as endoscopy.
Dr. Hull chose to pursue a career in medicine as a way to not only make a difference in the lives of others but to honor the memory of his father, Grant, who passed away from leukemia when Dr. Hull was a child. With the help of both family members and mentors, he found his way into the field of surgery and discovered it to be a natural fit. Dr. Hull earned his undergraduate degree from Auburn University, where he played football for both Tommy Tuberville and Gene Chizik as a place kicker from 2007-2009. He graduated from Auburn University Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2011. During his surgical training, he spent time at EAMC and chose to come back to EAMC to practice because of his positive experience during his time here along with the sense of community and his ties to the area.
Originally from Selma, Alabama, his family later moved to North Alabama and he was raised in Decatur. His hobbies include sports (Auburn football in particular), hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family.
